Private Hibachi Chef in Miami, FL — Bring the Party to Your Backyard
Miami knows how to throw a party — and a private hibachi chef takes it to another level. Here's everything you need to know about booking one for your next event.
One of the most common pre-booking questions: can you do hibachi indoors? The answer is yes — with the right setup. Here's exactly what indoor hibachi requires and what to expect.

The number one question we get from people considering a hibachi party at home during colder months, in apartments, or at indoor venues: can a hibachi chef cook inside? The short answer is yes — we do indoor events regularly. But there are some setup considerations that make indoor hibachi run safely and comfortably. Here's what you need to know.
Our portable hibachi grills are designed for versatility — they're compact flat-top units, not open charcoal grills. They produce far less smoke than a traditional barbecue, and with basic ventilation in place, indoor events run comfortably. We've done events in apartments, living rooms, dining rooms, basements, and garages — the key is airflow.
Completely sealed, windowless rooms without any air circulation are the main concern. Tiny studio apartments with no ventilation are tricky. Very low ceilings can trap smoke. If you're unsure about your space, just contact us before booking — share a description or photo of the area and we'll tell you directly whether it'll work.
Some of our busiest indoor hibachi markets are in cold-weather cities where outdoor entertaining isn't year-round. Chicago winters, New York winters, Denver, Boston — we cook indoors in all of these cities regularly. A Chicago apartment with a sliding door to a balcony, a New York kitchen adjacent to a window — these work fine. We've never had to cancel an indoor event due to space constraints in a well-ventilated home.

Outdoor events are slightly more comfortable from a ventilation standpoint and give more layout flexibility. But indoor events are totally workable and often more intimate — guests are gathered closer together, the energy is concentrated, and the show can feel even more immersive. Many of our most-loved events have been indoor setups. Choose based on your weather, space, and preference — not out of concern about safety.
When you fill out the booking form, include a note about your setup — indoor or outdoor, and any relevant details about ventilation. We confirm all indoor events before the chef arrives and will work with you to ensure the space is right. You can also call us at (702) 849-6363 to talk through your space directly.
